Photo courtesy the Kansas City Star From the FanPosts -Joel Thanks to a helpful link I found posted on AP, I'm now a little better educated on the zone blocking scheme now used by the Chiefs offensive line. And I'm here to say that I believe this is the much of why the Chiefs are 1-6 at this point. Don't misunderstand. I'm not suggesting that it was a mistake to install this scheme. But the fact that...

And our first "official" diagnosis of Branden Albert for the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday matchup with the San Diego Chargers : Questionable. Per the NFL injury report, this means he has a 50/50 chance of playing. He did practice today for the first time this week, and has been out of the walking boot all week, but he was not with the first or second team. Multiple outlets have speculated that...

Just yesterday, Babb thought the odds of Albert playing on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers were going down so this is encouraging news. Update 12:00 PM : Per Bob Gretz , Albert was not participating with the first or second team so his availability...

These updates are coming from Josh Looney and Bob Gretz. Left tackle Branden Albert did not fully participate in practice today. Like we said yesterday, he is off his walking boot. During practice he walked and jogged and didn't participate in...

Replace C Niswanger with Brian Waters Niswanger is getting pushed back and around too much. Waters’ power, weight (20 pounds heavier) and experience should keep that from occurring. Center is an easier position to play due to guard help, and Waters is not dominating at LG anymore. Don’t you agree? Ed's definitely a New York guy - he runs the SB Nation Yankees blog as well (which you can tell when he uses the word "Steinbrenner-ism" in our chat below). Ed and I held...
