Carolina DBs tee off on Freeman

Carolina DBs Charles Godfrey , Chris Harris and Chris Gamble all came away from the Week 13 win over Tampa Bay with interceptions of QB Josh Freeman . Godfrey finished with four tackles, Harris had seven and Gamble had six.

Beason leads Panthers defenders

The Panthers had several defenders play well Sunday at the Jets. Jon Beason led the way with 17 tackles and a fumble recovery. Tyler Brayton had nine tackles and 1.5 sacks. Chris Gamble had one tackle and an interception. Richard Marshall had eight tackles and recovered a fumble. And Julius Peppers , Everette Brown and Damione Lewis each had a half-sack.
