At different times his absence has forced the Eagles to move Will Witherspoon & Chris Gocong around, start guys like Joe Mays & Moises Fokou... His return would not only add a good LB to the unit, it would also bring a return to some normalcy....

Officially, Akeem Jordan remains day-to-day as he recovers from a hyperextended knee, but again this week, Jordan hasn't practiced. More than likely the Eagles will reprise last week's Joe Mays-Jeremiah Trotter combo in the middle, with middle linebacker Will Witherspoon taking Jordan's weakside role. Mays and Trotter weren't perfect against the Bears, but they were better than the Chris Gocong experiment...
