The 49ers sent out their weekly game release and the Fox crew for this Sunday's 49ers- Texans matchup will be the #4 crew of Chris Myers and Brian Billick. While I'm not a big fan of Chris Myers, I do enjoy the musings of Brian Billick. This crew covered the 49ers- Seahawks battle in week 2 and heading into the game some folks were not all that excited about having Billick providing color commentary....

Chris Myers is a legitimate, reputable national broadcaster known to countless Bucs fans as the team’s play-by-play man on its preseason telecasts. So it’s fair to say that Bucs fans should take great notice when Myers drops an absolute bombshell of a ramble like he did today on his daily FOX Sports Radio show. Myers said Tony Dungy is a name under [...]

Oakland Raiders quarterback Jamarcus Russell being sacked during the Raider's 44-7 loss against the New York Giants. AP Photo/Julie Jacobson The NFL and Los Angeles has been a topic ever since the Rams and Raiders up and left town in 1995. Plans to turn the Coliseum and Rose Bowl into NFL stadiums came and fell through. Building a new Downtown LA stadium was laughable. A stadium by Dodger Stadium...

According to Chris Myers on Fox Sports Radio on the "Myers and Hartman Show", Myers spoke with NFL insiders saying the Oakland Raiders are the front-runners for moving to Los Angeles. With the proposed Los Angeles Stadium going through the final hurdles before becoming a reality , talk of the NFL returning to Los Angeles after a 15-year absence is starting to be more than rumors. But the...

First off... whew . As great as it's been basking in that victory over Tennessee, a small part of me was just waiting for the other shoe, in the form of suspensions, to drop. Freaking fantastic to see that your Houston Texans will not be without the services of the best wide receiver on the planet. In a related story, freaking terrifying to see that your Houston Texans will not be without the services...

I've been AWOL from blogging for a week, but it has been for the best of all possible reasons. Last weekend I was at the Brooklyn Book Festival. Saw all kinds of kidlit people like, Mo Willems and Chris Myers. A couple of my blog readers showed up armed with life-sustaining popcorn for me, like Rebecca from Austin and these girls, , who just totally made my whole day. As promised, I signed their shoes....
