Kevin Grady's favorite Michigan-Michigan State memory flips back to the 2003 game, played two months after he orally committed to the Wolverines for the Class of 2005. "My favorite Michigan State moment was when I wasn't even here yet -- I was home watching it when Chris Perry had 51 carries," Grady said this week of the former U-M tailback.

Notes from today's morning press conference. To get live updates from these events, you can follow me on Twitter @ varsityblue . Rich Rodriguez Tate Forcier's shoulder is bruised, but he will play this weekend . Denard Robinson might play a slightly larger role as his comfort with the offense improves. Saints are still looking for their first league win of the season after drawing 0-0 at home to Colchester yesterday in a very boring game. The visitors had Kemel Izzet sent off in the first half, but Saints failed to make the numerical advantage count and were reduced mainly to long shots. This has been a very disappointing start to the season, no wins, four draws and two defeats, a win is desperately...
Saints played well tonight and were unfortunate to get knocked out of the FA Cup, losing 2-1 at home to Birmingham. Southampton outplayed their Premier league counterparts and heavy pressure paid off just after half time when Adam Lallana curled a well struck shot into the top right corner. The home side looked like doubling their lead, but the Blues equalised against the run of play through Lee Bowyer...
Chris Perry’s 51 carry, 219 yard performance in Michigan’s 27-20 victory over Michigan State in 2003 will be remembered for quite a while. Perry’s pounding pretty much sealed the win for the Wolverines, controlling the ball and the clock for Lloyd Carr and company. This video, via SI’s Hot Clicks, naturally evoked a few memories of [...]
I think the word average best describes Saint's performance in the 1-1 draw at home to Brentford this afternoon. There was some good play, but not enough was done to secure the three points. Saints dominated the first half, but failed to get many shots on target. The second half looked to be the same story, but Dan Harding broke the deadlock for the home side on 73 minutes, scoring his first goal for...
