From the FanPosts. -Chris Many probably find the upstart United Football League as an irrelevancy during the early weeks of the NFL regular season. The UFL barely registers a blip on the sports news radar as its four teams start practice this week in preparation for a six-game season kicking off October 8th on the Versus Network. While the league's marketing slogan is "Where the Future Stars Come...

Bills former reserve QB Craig Nall has found a team in the UFL. Nall signed with the UFL’s Florida Tuskers along with 11 other players, most of whom have NFL experience. Nall now makes two former Bills quarterbacks playing in the UFL. J.P. Losman is the starting QB for the Las Vegas Locomotives. [...]

Before the Packers ever drafted Aaron Rodgers, I really thought that Craig Nall was going to be the future under center for the Green and Gold. I just really loved the guy, so much to the point that I bet my friend Shep $100 that Nall would win an MVP award someday. Clearly, that was stupid. However, perhaps maybe I wasn't so wrong in that bet. You see, I don't remember if I actually specified if it...

Last last with Peyton Manning on the PUP the Colts brought in a pair of veteran backups, Quinn Gray and Jared Lorenzen . Now with Jim Sorgi out 2-3 weeks they may bring an experienced QB in again. There are still a few Quarterbacks with NFL experience remaining unsigned. Tom Kowalski, of MLive.com, reports the Lions worked out unrestricted free-agent QBs Cleo Lemon (Jaguars), Craig Nall (Texans) and Brooks Bollinger (Cowboys) according to a league source. These guys would strictly be backups to Matthew Stafford or Daunte Culpepper. It will be interesting to see if any of them had good enough workouts to [...]

Life will go on at quarterback for the Green Bay Packers with Aaron Rodgers, maybe Craig Nall and in all probability one and perhaps two newcomers from free agency, trades and the draft.

The word out of Green Bay is that Brett Favre will start and that Rodgers is OUT. They had to go out and sign Craig Nall just so that Donald Driver wouldn't have to be the back-up QB. You may not know Nall because he hasn't taken a snap in the NFL since 2004. This does not bode well for the Packers. The way I see it, Favre is their franchise and they already have a playoff spot locked up. IF he is...

Quarterback Craig Nall has just three practices to become well-versed enough in the Texans offense that he could play in an emergency Sunday. Nall is confident he can do that. So are the Texans, who signed Nall to back up Sage Rosenfels against Oakland. Starter Matt Schaub has a concussion and is not expected to play.
