The Run Defense

by Jim Prisching - AP 2 days ago: Minnesota Vikings' Adrian Peterson (28) is stopped for a loss by Green Bay Packers' Clay Matthews (52) during the first half of an NFL football game Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, in Green Bay, Wis. What to make of this team

I'm sure most of you have read what Cullen Jenkins had to say after Sunday's game in which the defense gave up four passing touchdowns to Brett Favre and the Vikings . And I'm sure some of you have also read what ESPN.com NFC North Blogger Kevin Seifert makes of the situation. This defense is in trouble, right? Just look at the three games played against legit NFL Offenses, doesn't look that much different...

The Day After: Green Bay Packers Loss To The Vikings

More photos » by Mike Roemer - AP Browse more photos » On the Green Bay Packers offensive line. From Mike McCarthy : Offensive line, I'm going to take the week, very similar to last week. I'm going to see how Chad Clifton progresses through the week. I also want to see how Mark Tauscher progresses through the week. Jenkins Doesn’t Like Capers Playcalling Sunday

Looks like there’s some issues with the way Sunday’s game was called…at least according to Cullen Jenkins: Defensive end Cullen Jenkins spoke out after the Packers’ 38-26 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, saying he felt “handcuffed” in the new defense and that the coaches weren’t putting the players in the positions where they can be most [...]

The Fight For First Place: Round Two

Some are calling it the "Game of the Century". Others are calling it the "Hostile Homecoming". Still others are calling it "Favre- Packers v.2.0". Me? I call it Week 9 of the NFL season. Admittedly, our opponent this week is eerily similar to the team that handed Green Bay its second loss of the season. We know this team very well, and the only major change is the injury...

Recap: Green Bay Packers Dominate Browns 31-3

More photos » by Scott Heckel - AP Browse more photos » Just a great game for the Green Bay Packers . They clearly outplayed a lesser team. The biggest stat, box score from ESPN.com , was 460 yards on offense for the Packers, and only 139 for the Browns . RB Ryan Grant had 151 total yards by himself. The offensive line gave Grant a lot of room to run, and there were no sacks on QB Aaron...

Friday Injury Report: Lions at Green Bay Packers

More photos » by Winslow Townson - AP Browse more photos » It's a brutally long injury report this week for the Green Bay Packers and the Lions.
