Lewis made a great play in coverage, breaking up a pass intended for FB David Kirtman, who was coming out of the backfield. Lewis also was part of a big collision involving RB Julius Jones. Cooper, entering his seventh season out of Nebraska-Omaha, went to training camp with Seattle in 2006, but was released and signed by Arizona. He spent the last two seasons with the Cardinals. The veteran of 78 career games with 12 starts has also played for Oakland and San Francisco.

Seahawks signed linebacker D.D. Lewis and defensive lineman Chris Cooper. The moves helped the team replace players who had been lost this offseason in free agency. Both Lewis and Cooper had played previously for the Seahawks.
