I thought I'd try and gather some of my thoughts around the numbers and stats coming out of our third preseason game vs. the Ravens . Since we played "most" of our starters...and for "most" of the game...normally, I'd say the results of Game 3 should be more indicative of how we can expect the team to play throughout the upcoming season. But, we had some key guys sit this one out....

The Panthers signed the following players to their practice squad: RB Decori Birmingham - Very glad to see this guy in the squad. He played well and could get a call up if anyone should get dinged OT Geoff Schwartz - The 7th round pick looks slotted at right tackle where he couldn't beat out the versatile Jeremy Bridges for the back-up job. He's a big strong guy who needs to work on his footwork....
