EJ Henderson of the Vikings doesn’t mess around when it comes to wedding planning. There was a guy there hand rolling cigars. There was gambling. There was karaoke. They even had one of those stupid little photo booths. They had everything. This was like every episode of every show on Oxygen combined, except they put [...]

Now this is how you throw a wedding. Who cares about the nuptials when the reception involves booths for gambling, rolling cigars, and tattoos? E.J. Henderson may not be a household name (yet), but once you see this video you’ll have a greater appreciation for the man. I think I may have to become a [...]

Antoine Winfield did some light work in practice today, which is a good sign for the much-missed defender. Also limited in practice were Brett Favre (hip/groin), E.J. Henderson (knee), and Bernard Berrian (hamstring). It is nice to see that the bye week allowed the Vikings injury report to get considerably smaller. Two of the Lions best defenders, linebackers [...]

Vikings players must be particularly good at playing through pain, because it seems that every week players are added to the injury report when we had no idea what-so-ever that they were hurt. E.J. Henderson (knee), Antoine Winfield (toe), and Bernard Berrian (hamstring) were all held out of practice today. Jimmy Kennedy did not participate either, [...]

The Minnesota Vikings have three starters fighting injuries: Wide receiver Bernard Berrian, middle linebacker E.J. Henderson and cornerback Antoine Winfield. Berrian hurt his left hamstring last week at Pittsburgh. Winfield missed that game because of an injury to his right foot. Henderson's knee is on the mend. They were all held out of Wednesday's practice. The Vikings visit Green Bay this weekend...

Interesting comments from Leslie Frazier about the nickel and how roles may be changing. Via the Star-Trib: Linebacker Ben Leber usually comes out in nickel situations — fellow linebackers E.J. Henderson and Chad Greenway remain on the field — but Frazier said that might change Sunday. “We discussed that and we’re going to do some things [...]

A quick glance at the numbers: Among quarterbacks, Brett Favre is third in the league in completion percentage (69.1%) with just Ben Roethlisberger and...

MINNEAPOLIS – When Brett Favre signed with the Minnesota Vikings less than a month ago, he openly wondered if he could make all the plays he used to make and last all the way through a 19th season in the NFL. One thing he didn't doubt was his ability to lead. That confidence was verified when the Vikings elected the 39-year-old quarterback as one of five team captains for the 2009 season. Guard Steve...
