Eugene Amano seeks help for Philippine flood victims

Eugene Amano seeks help for Philippine flood victims Just recently my homeland, the Philippines, was hit hard by a typhoon where normally a month's worth of rain fell in just six hours. Specially hit hard was Manila, the capital, where at one point it was 80% submerged. Thank God my family back home was safe but thousands of families were affected and lost love ones. Unfortunately, the worst is not...

Amano, Young, Bironas (all questionable for Sunday), oh my!

Amano, Young, Bironas (all questionable for Sunday), oh my! Eugene Amano missed all week with an illness (probably the flu strain that is running rampant in Middle Tennessee), and Leroy Harris took all of the first team snaps at guard. VY is sick as well, but Fisher expects him to active Sunday. Rob Bironas apparently twisted an ankle practicing kickoffs, or at least that's what was said on the radio...

Shake's AFC South team, Part 1

More photos » by Michael Conroy - AP The top QB and C in the AFC South (and the league) (AP Photo/Michael Conroy) Browse more photos » The division "bloggers" over at ESPN.com are digging into the bag of gimmicks, listing top 10 "building blocks" (players you'd choose if your goal was to contend for a title over the next 3 years). State of the Tennessee Titans Roster: Offensive Line

The offensive line was the strength of the 2008 team and should be again in 2009. It all starts with the bookends at tackle with Michael Roos and David Stewart . Roos finally got the credit he deserves last season with a Pro Bowl bid, and Stewart is one of the nastiest players in the league. Don't be surprised to see him in Hawaii Miami next season. Both guards were new last season with Jake Scott...

Titans 80 man roster predictions?

Ok, I stole this from Sklz711 over at Windy City Gridiron ( link ), the Bears blog site. Since things are slow all around the NFL right now and I don't feel like going to bed yet, I decided to rip his format and go over the roster spots for the Titans before they have to reach the 80 man roster limit. Below are the players currently on roster (according to wikipedia , players in italics are rookies)...

Titans Position Analysis: RB

The Titans were fifth in the league in rushing last year, with 132 yards per game. Can they repeat that success this year? The o-line returns three starters and adds veterans Jake Scott and Eugene Amano, so the blocking should be decent again this year. FB Ahmard Hall will resume his role as a good [...]
