This season, Buffalo seemed poised to unleash two hard-nosed, dependable running backs to help carry the load on offense. Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson were ready to have their names included in the discussion among the best running back duos in football. Unfortunately, this season, due to a number of factors (quarterback play, [...]

Bills RB Marshawn Lynch was fully participating in the portion of practice open to the media on Wednesday. Lynch left Sunday's game against Jacksonville with a shoulder injury but seems to be on track to play against the Dolphins in Week 12. Fred Jackson was expected to get the start had Lynch been unable to play.

The Bills lost a tough game again in an 18-15 loss to Jacksonville, and what made it even tougher was the offense was more productive, but two touchdowns came off the board for the Bills on penalties. The first called back a nine-yard touchdown run by Fred Jackson on a chop block penalty. Buffalo settled for [...]

More photos » by Stephen Morton - AP Browse more photos » I'm not sure that the term "fourth quarter collapse" accurately describes this game - at least in the sense that the Bills didn't roll over and die like mortally wounded animals, as they did in their previous two games - but Perry Fewell's debut as interim head coach of the Buffalo Bills was marred by yet another lost lead...

Buffalo RB Fred Jackson became the starting RB by default during the Week 11 game at Jacksonville. Starter Marshawn Lynch was injured early in the game and Jackson replaced him as the lead runner. Jackson finished with nine carries for 35 yards and no scores. He added four catches for 20 yards.

Marshawn Lynch scored on the Jaguars last season in Jacksonville, something he hopes to do again in Week 11. In his meeting with them last season he also had 67 total yards, and that was sharing the ball with Fred Jackson , which is also something he'll do again this Sunday.

You're probably not inclined to start Fred Jackson in Week 11 at Jacksonville, but here's some recent history that's good food for thought: Jackson played at Jacksonville last season and while sharing the backfield with Marshawn Lynch was able to total 100 yards from scrimmage.

I know everyone has seen the video of Titans Owner Bud Adams "waving" to the Bills from the owner's box. How can a Titans fan not like having an owner like that? Sure, he shouldn't have done it but he showed he's as down to earth as the rest of us and not just some highfalutin stuffed shirt sitting way above us looking down. It was all in fun. Way to go Bud!
