by M. Spencer Green - AP Eric Mangini doesn't have too many tough roster decisions to make -- except maybe on RB Jamal Lewis. Is there really a point to roster transactions this late into training camp? Sure, maybe we're trying to scout players that might end up on our practice squad in the future, but a week really isn't a lot to go by. As I'm sure you can tell, the training camp reports are more so "general team notes" now as opposed to specifics on how the day went. It's like that every year as public camp sessions...

It doesn't really feel like training camp anymore, but a few sessions still remain. The team hit the field Monday for one of their final three public sessions; after that, everything will be closed off and geared especially towards preparing for the regular season. Rapid Reports indicates that only about 300 fans attended practice on Monday. TRAINING CAMP REPORT - DAY 24 (8/24/09) Pool's Injury: If...

With neither quarterback gaining a definitive edge over the other in camp so far, Mangini's decision might come down to how Quinn and Anderson perform in the preseason games. via photos.theobr.com View full size photo uploaded August 6, 2009 For this morning's Day 5 training camp recap, click here . The news coming in was more low-key for the evening session, so bare with me as I scrape the bottom...

It's Day 3 of Cleveland Browns training camp, and the morning practice is already in the books. There weren't a lot of updates on the injury front, with a name or two even being added to the "minor" injury list. Only 53 men can make the make the Cleveland Browns final roster, meaning a lot of players will be fighting for their jobs when training camp starts tomorrow. The first major batch of cuts aren't due for awhile, but this is a thread where you can go on record as listing who you believe will make the team's final roster and practice squad. Here is my first official roster projection for the 2009-2010...

Members of the local media are now having the privilege of viewing the minicamp sessions, and they've been busy. Here is a cliff notes version on reports from the Plain Dealer, Canton Repository, Akron Beacon Journal, and the OBR: QB Competition: Although we have proclaimed Brady Quinn as the player favored to start this season, Mangini is still being fair to Derek Anderson and holding a "competition"....
