Locker to stay at Washington another year?

While we're on the St. Louis Rams and the 2010 NFL Draft, I thought this story abotu Washington QB Jake Locker was worth passing on. Locker's head coach Steve Sarkisian thinks the QB is likely to stay at Washington for one more season. That's not a huge surprise considering he's tailed off this season, throwing 7 INTs. If Sarkisian can get some talent to play around Locker, he could really up his draft...

Pac-10 TV Schedule, Week 11

It's Huskies and Beavers Week, and Fox Sports Northwest has regional coverage of the 12:30 game when the Washington Huskes visit the Oregon St. Beavers. This is the one that will have NFL scouts in Reser, and more watching from afar, because it is the showdown of the two quarterbacks in the conference the NFL is interested in, in Oregon St.'s senior Sean Canfield, and Washington's junior Jake Locker,...

Leading Off: 49ers need to draft QB

Bee Sports Editor/Opinion 49ers' future QB is playing on Saturdays The view from section LR19, Row 3 at Candlestick Park on Sunday did nothing to dissuade me from my prior thoughts on the 49ers' quarterback situation. The answer is in next April's NFL draft. That is obvious after watching Alex Smith from the end zone behind him. He zeroed in early on receivers. He didn't check off enough to his secondary...

Dungy said that if he were running a team with a Top 10 pick, he'd take Tebow. Patrick then asked Dungy who he'd pick for his team if he could have any of the top college quarterbacks, including Washington's Jake Locker, Notre Dame's Jimmy Clausen, Oklahoma's Sam Bradford and Texas's Colt McCoy. Dungy didn't hesitate and said, "I'm taking Tebow." Discuss .

A Long Look at Jake Locker, Pro Quarterback, After a Brief Look at Jake Locker, Amateur Quarterback

More photos » by Paul Sakuma - AP I was not agog over Jake Locker, but he does have a quick release. Browse more photos » I watched Jake Locker with some interest this Saturday. Locker has surpassed Taylor Mays as the local athlete Seahawks fans most desire. This is not a comprehensive review of Locker. I tuned out after the game became lopsided. Saturday Scouting Runneth Over

More photos » by Elaine Thompson - AP Whatever your feelings about Matt Hasselbeck, his contract ends in 2011. Sniffing out Jake Locker

More photos » by Paul Sakuma - AP Am I the future of the St. Louis Rams? Jake Locker is the New Hotness

We have all come to the conclusion that the Rams will be in the market for a quarterback in the 2010 draft. Marc Bulger is serviceable but fragile, Kyle Boller is scatterarmed and inconsistent and Keith Null is still very raw. And one college quarterback is making the charge up the draft charts for 2010 as [...]
