The Bengals released veteran CB Jamar Fletcher today. Fletcher played in 11 games for the Bengals last season, and had been re-signed as a free agent this past August 2nd. They also waived undrafted free agents, WR Greg Orton and DT Pernell Phillips.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound Fletcher was with the Bengals for 11 games last season after joining the team as a free agent Sept. 23. He made two starts and had 21 tackles, defended three passes, recovered a fumble and made two special teams tackles. His former Bengals contract expired after the 2008 season....
