Obviously the subject of Mike Holmgren as Seattle GM continues to be brought up. I can't get away from it, from Steve Kelley to Ian Furness to several commenters on this site. So regardless of whether or not we'd all like it to be a dead issue, there is a feeling out there that he's the best fit to take us back to respectability. Well... let's actually take a real peek at his record as GM from 1999-2002....

Lou Miller was a unanimous 1st Team selection The full list of All Ivy honorees is below. Eight different Lions have been recognized, with Austin Knowlin getting selected for two slots, so that makes nine. Some quick thoughts: -Great recognition for Lou Miller getting a unanimous selection as a first team defensive lineman. -It's super that Jeff Adams made first team even as a sophomore on the offensive...

What's the story, Missouri? All the rest of the states enjoy technology. We surf on the Facebook , and send the textings , and play 'The World of the Warcraft,' and so forth. And you know what? We have fun with it. But you -- you, Missouri -- you have to go and pee on our parade, don't you? You have to take technology and make it evil . Well, Mizzou, we've had enough. We don't know what's more disturbing:...

Cavaliers 111, Heat 104LeBron James had little to say Thursday about the prospect of playing with Dwyane Wade next season, and that was fine. Having them on the same court was enough of a treat for now. The two All-Stars put on a show in their first showdown of the season, and James scored 34 points to help the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Miami Heat 111-104. Wade scored 36 points but couldn't rally...

The final score was not an indication about how one-sided this game was, as Cleveland had a 20 point lead with under six minutes remaining in the game before a meaningless Magic run in the final five minutes. LeBron James and Mo Williams combined for 64 points. The Magic had their only lead of the game at 9-7, as the Cavaliers shot 65% in the first quarter to lead 35-28. The Cavaliers extended their...

NIXON'S WEEK 42 GRADE: C Simply put, Gov. Jay Nixon's budget director calls the general revenue picture the worst she's ever seen. And just a few days before Halloween, that reality again turned Nixon into a slasher. Another $204 million dollars in cuts that don't directly gut the Governor's stated priorities, but slice very close to the bone: Is a reimbursement rate decrease to doctors equivalent...

I'd like to thank all the artists that came out to the wonderful showcase that I judged and hosted at Marlos in Irvington NJ. As you all know Jersey is not exactly one of the biggest cornerstones to find talent, so it was a breath of fresh air to see some solid talent come through and put on 1 hell of a show. The show consisted of about 10-13 artists and I made sure I brought through some of my Industry...
