Okay kids... Week 11 is fast approaching. 2 regular season fantasy weeks to go after this weekend. It's crunch time, so I'm sure many of you (like me) are gripping over which players to plug into those WR2/3, flex, and RB2 spots. Again, if you have a Peyton Manning, Chris Johnson, or other matchup-proof player, then by all means go with that player. Let's take a look at some players who you might want...

Johnson interviewed Allen today at Winter Park for a "Twin Cities Live" segment scheduled to air Monday. I had heard that Johnson was scheduled to interview Allen, however, the main focus of my chat with her was about her being flabbergasted to win Martha Stewart's first pie contest. She baked her Almond Toffee Pecan Pie on TV with Stewart Tuesday.

You all hankering for some Sean Locklear love? Didn't think so. Locklear did not have a very good first quarter. He wasn't moving well and was routinely overpowered by Calais Campbell . Campbell is enjoying a sophomore surge, so I do not discount the level of competition, but routinely beat is no way to play left tackle. Locklear looked a touch gimpy to me. The significance of the contest might have...

According to the good folks at SI.com, immediately after Minnesota's 27-10 victory over the Detroit Lions yesterday, Vikings ' coach Brad Childress was on the phone with the NFL's VP of Officiating, Mike Periera. Chilly was apparently livid over the helmet-to-helmet hit call against defensive end Ray Edwards that led directly to the lone Detroit touchdown of the afternoon, particularly considering...

How do you stop Vikings defensive end Jared Allen? "Probably shoot him," said Lions defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham, who once coached him in Kansas City. "I'm saying that in a joking way. I love him. I respect him." If only the Lions had a silver bullet Sunday at Minnesota, so to speak.

"Coach Karm is a hell of a coach,'' Allen said on a conference call with Detroit reporters Wednesday. "I had a slow start last year and I talked to him all the time. It wasn't working, so he used to come up and do his drills with me and we game planned together. Sometimes, it's nice to have an outside view with somebody that you really trust to help you fix a couple things. And last year,...
