Bad breaking news from PE.com Left tackle Jason Peters is out for Sunday's game against the Chargers with an ankle injury. Left guard Todd Herremans will slide out and start at left tackle. Nick Cole will start at left guard and Stacy Andrews will start at right guard. Peters didn't practice this week, but said as long as the cross country flight didn't complicate things he would play. Maybe it was...

For example: Going into the season, here is what their offensive line was projected to look like: RT Stacy Andrews RG Shawn Andrews C Jamal Jackson LG Todd Herremans LT Jason Peters. But Stacy Andrews, a somewhat big free-agent signing, hasn't materialized. Shawn Andrews went on injured reserve with a bad back, and some...

One thing to be concerned with Eagles QB Donovan McNabb this week is the health of left tackle Jason Peters (ankle), who is sitting out Thursday's practice, but the Eagles hope he'll be ready for Sunday's game in San Diego.

Gather ye around the robust religious argument on the Front Porch. It all started when Jason Peters, who is an Orthodox convert, had vivid and unkind words to say about Evangelical megachurches. A commenter jumped in and told Peters he...

More photos » by Matt Rourke - AP Browse more photos » As if losing to the Cowboys at home wasn't bad enough, the Eagles now have a lengthy injury list to deal with during the coming week. Probably the most worrisome loss is that of weakside linebacker Akeem Jordan , who suffered a hyperextended knee and a bone bruise. The Eagles have had a very rough season at linebacker so far, and with...

Only Rossum did not practice, and don't expect him to play Sunday at Philadelphia. We did notice that Rossum was wearing a practice jersey. Also, Miles Austin , who tweaked his groin during the Seattle game last Sunday, isn't...
