I'm sitting here in Seattle at Sea-Tac International Airport waiting for my shuttle bus and I thought I'd roll out a random post for you. Well first, normally I'm a fan of San Francisco International Airport. It's nice looking, easy to get to on BART, and all around an ok experience. My problem with them is their lack of Internet, or more specifically, FREE Internet. I don't travel a ton, but SFO is...

I mentioned before that I get a press release with some of the positive statistical performances from the day's game. I'm thinking when the 49ers lose we'll call this Hidden Nuggets, since games like this sometimes require fans to look a little deeper for positives. And we can continue our gold miner theme on the site, right? Frank Gore One of the more interesting numbers came from Frank Gore. Gore's...

The 49ers pick up practice again today after having the last few days off. It's Tuesday though, which means it's time for the our weekly Mike Singletary Approval Rating. Last week saw Coach Singletary drop from 90% to 80% , although that remained 7% higher than the ESPN rating . This week, the ESPN voters have shown a bit more support for Singletary as he currently sits at 81%. The win over Chicago...

The 49ers basically showed they could "finish" twice in yesterday's game. Of course they finished the game with Michael Lewis's interception to clinch the game. They also finished after Tarell Brown 's interception return, when Frank Gore plowed into the end zone on the first play of the subsequent drive for a 14-yard touchdown run. The series leading up to the game-clinching interception...

As hideous as much of this game may have seemed, there is of course a whole assortment of random notes to ponder related to the interceptions: The 49ers defense registered 5 interceptions against the Bears. It was the first time a 49ers team notched at least 5 interceptions since September 14, 1997, vs. New Orleans (6 interceptions). It marked the first time since September 7, 1986, at Tampa Bay, that...
