I'll leave the obvious recommendations to the network bozos and focus on players on the bubble of most fantasy lineups. Here are my picks to roll, and get rolled, in Week 11. Watch 'em roll Eli Manning, QB, Giants vs. Falcons. Manning faces an Atlanta defense that has given up tons of yards and 29 points per game over the last four weeks. Bernard Scott, RB, Bengals at Raiders. Assuming Cedric Benson...

We'll fire off a few random thoughts for a typically busy Wednesday: * Biggest crowd in the locker room today was around K Matt Stover, who as we all know used to kick for Baltimore and is now headed home. Funny thing, too, that the Ravens gave their kicker the boot on Tuesday and signed Billy Cundiff, the old washout with Dallas, New Orleans and Cleveland. I couldn't resist asking Stover today, when...

We all saw. No need to wax poetic. Let's get to the second-take observations: * Joseph Addai runs right for 4 yards on the opening play, but then the Colts are content to throw quick and underneath on the next two plays and come up short. It's as if they expected blitzes and thought they could catch the Patriots in something. Pierre Garcon drops a pass on a bang-bang, ball arrives and he gets hit....

They were not hurt. They were not disciplined for an off-the-field incident. They seemed to be left inactive because...

Sebastian Vollmer did his job Sunday, neutralizing Dwight Freeney . View full size photo » Bill Belichick talks about the game at his Monday Press Conference . I thought it was our best chance to win. I thought we needed to make that one play and then we could basically run out the clock. We weren't able to make it. Well, there're a lot of the decisions in the game that we all have to make -...

Nam Y. Huh / Associated Press In ten years prowling the Patriots' sidelines, Bill Belichick has earned all kinds of trust and goodwill and benefit-of-the-doubt. Which is good, because he needs it this morning. Bill's controversial (we probably need a word stronger than that) decision to go for it on fourth down, in Pats territory, late in the game, was the centerpiece of a bona fide fourth quarter...

That was a revolting performance last night by the Patriots. Fantastic through three quarters, awful in the fourth. And there are any number of plays that contribute to a loss, but the focus this morning is all on one decision by Bill Belichick. The Patriots went for it on 4th and 2 from their own 28 on the last play before the 2-minute warning, rather than punting. The histrionics in the media thus...

• Manning overcomes brady as Colts beat Pats 35-34 • Both quarterbacks throw 300 yard games The late showdown between Peyton Manning's unbeaten Indianapolis Colts and Tom Brady's New England Patriots lived up to the hype as the game of the season with the outcome not decided until the final drive. Manning's Colts emerged victorious at home, 35-34 winners following a dramatic conclusion to...

Colts rookie RB Donald Brown returned to action against the Patriots in Week 10 but didn't seem comfortable. He had just four carries for 14 yards and an 8-yard catch. He might have banged up his shoulder, or come back too soon from the shoulder injury that kept him out for several games prior to Week 10. Brown saw playing time after starter Joseph Addai hurt his fingers, but then third-string rusher...

Colts QB Peyton Manning threw four touchdowns and completed 28 of 44 passes for 327 yards against the Patriots in Week 10. Manning hit Joseph Addai on a screen for an early score and hooked up with Pierre Garcon for a touchdown in the second half, but made his hay on connections with Reggie Wayne : He hit him 10 times for 126 yards and two touchdowns, including the one that put the Colts on top for...

Colts RB Joseph Addai scored on a screen pass from 15 yards out vs. the Patriots in Week 10 but hurt his fingers on the play. It appeared that a Patriots defender went for the ball with his helmet and smacked Addai on the hand holding the ball. He left the game and returned to the sideline with his right middle and index fingers taped together. In addition to the catch, Addai had three carries for...

BRADY ASKS FOR A ROUGHING PENALTY ON EVERY PLAYKKAKE The epic Bill Belichick-Jim Caldwell blood feud is renewed in this, a contest bound to be sorely lacking in superlatives about the quarterbacks involved. But there are so many other intriguing storylines aside from the obvious QB comparison. Is it Laurence Maroney or is it Joseph Addai [...]

Peyton Manning topped 300 yards and got credit for another Colts rally, but it was Joseph Addai who won it. The...
