Tuesday Notes: Copeland Bryan Has MCL Sprain

The trade deadline is at 4 p.m., and so far it doesn't appear that there are even whispers of a trade by the Lions. Jim Schwartz did say that the Lions are "open to everything," but as of right now I haven't heard even a single trade rumor. Defensive end Copeland Bryan sprained his right knee's MCL during Sunday's loss to the Packers. That is the same injury that Steelers safety Troy Polamalu...

Friday Notes: Schwartz to Name Starting QB Before Game on Sunday

Jim Schwartz is going to wait to name a starting quarterback until right before the game on Sunday. Matthew Stafford did practice today , but if I were to bet on it, I'd put my money on Daunte Culpepper getting the start. Expect to see DeAndre Levy in the starting lineup on Sunday. We don't know who he will be replacing, but speculation suggests Julian Peterson will move to defensive end, opening up...
