Delmas, a second-round pick out of Western Michigan, became the first Lion to win defensive rookie of the month since the NFL created the award in 1996. Three Lions have been named NFL offensive rookie of the month -- Kevin Jones and Roy Williams in 2004 and Charlie Batch in 1998.
