Lost in all the hubbub after beating the Green Bay Packers in a genocidal effort to cause all Bengals fans to have a collective heart attack, Bengals punter Kevin Huber isn't just fulfilling all of the accolades he earned in college. He's actually making a difference. A fifth round draft pick, Huber was selected higher than Bernard Scott and Morgan Trent , two guys that have a decent future in the...

When the Bengals released the two punters on their roster, Kyle Larson and Ryan Plackemeier, only two days after drafting Kevin Huber, the former UC punter found himself in an interesting situation.

The worst injury Mason Moore had suffered previously was a broken thumb while racing go-karts. The Princeton resident today is recovering from a serious injury that has put a road block on his racing career. On May 23, Moore, 18, was racing a winged sprint car at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico when he flipped violently during practice. He fractured his T4 vertebrae, sidelining him for three months....

The Bengals today let go of two punters, meaning that the job basically belongs to fifth-round draft pick Kevin Huber. Kyle Larson and Ryan Plackemeier were let go Tuesday. The Bengals claimed Plackemeier off waivers on February 13th. He punted for Seattle and Washington last season. Larson has been the Bengals’ punter for the last five [...]

Welcome to the Cincinnati Bengals, Mr. Huber. A la Hobson . The Bengals made it clear Tuesday just how much they regard fifth-round pick Kevin Huber when they released their two veterans and left him as the only punter on the roster. Gone is Kyle Larson after five seasons and 379 punts, the third most in team history behind Lee Johnson (746) and Pat McInally. His 41.9-yard average is tied for third...

Special Teams coach Darrin Simmons is still expecting Kyle Larson to get better, after he started his career improving until his average gross and net punts were inside the top-10 by 2006. After that, Larson stumbled, what Simmons called, a " downward spiral the past couple of years ." Simmons continues that "Kyle has to fix Kyle. I think he knows that. We've got to be able to change...

Glenn Holt nearly returned a kickoff for a touchdown. The Kickoff team recovered an unexpected on-side kick. Shayne Graham converted all three field goals (41, 31, 40). Except for the Kyries Hebert illegal touching that nullified a Kyle Larson punt to the three-yard line (moving it to the 20), the Bengals special teams did pretty good . You hate to blame one play in a 60-minute NFL game as the reason...

Lost in all the Chad Johnson, Chris Henry hoopla is that the Bengals also released punter Danny Baugher . Baugher signed a two-year deal with the Bengals on February 5th, in part because Kyle Larson wasn't under contract when free agency kicked off this year. Larson signed a five-year deal on March 5 and the team, not needing another punter on roster -- nor the competition -- released Baugher Thursday...

Baltimore - Backup RBs Musa Smith and Mike Anderson get their pink slips, but that's it. Nothing else significant in or out. Cincinnati - They lost DB Madieu Williams to free agency, but to make up for it they... resigned LB Dhani Jones and P Kyle Larson . That can't be right. Nope, that's it. Hmmm. Cleveland - The Browns have focused on keeping what they have, signing QB Derek Anderson and RB Jamal...
