Here’s a photo from an upcoming PSA for D.C.-area animal rescue starring Rock Cartwright, Clinton Portis, Devin Thomas and little doggies. [WARL] Levi Jones is the new LT, moving Stephon Heyer back to RT. [Skins Insider] “Campbell’s performance is a positive indicator of his ability to play.” [FO] A hilarious, on-point rant regarding the Larry Johnson thing. [KSK] Good [...]...

More photos » by John Amis - AP Injury Report for the Redskins vs Broncos will likely need 2-3 sheets of paper. Browse more photos » Injury Report is a doozy this week. Redskins will be continuing their patch work as they face the Denver Broncos this weekend. Zorn stated the Redskins will be looking to sign a RB with Portis "doubtful." Any guesses on this one? Is anyone buying the pile of manure Vinny Cerrato is shoveling out of Washington DC? No respectable Redskins fan is, especially those who live in the nations capitol and are used to politicians lies. Cerrato uses his radio show (why he even has one is beyond comprehension) as a platform to explain his incompetencies. He used it this week to make a few statements that need to be broken down. "Jim...

Another week could bring another player into the mix at left tackle for the Washington Redskins. Signed Oct. 20 as an insurance policy after six-time Pro Bowl player Chris Samuels suffered a career-threatening neck injury, Levi Jones might make his first start at the position for the Redskins on Sunday at Atlanta. Stephon Heyer has handled the job the past two games, losses to Kansas City and Philadelphia....

It’s become the latest craze in security blogs — show how search for a celebrity or current event leads to malware through Google searches. I’ve done it myself, quite a bit . And I do think it provides a public service. But the reality is — it’s massive, it’s constant, and the search terms are all over the place. For example, there is a current blackhat run on Google...

Just a few notes from a short, windy Saturday practice. Clinton Portis was back at practice, but Albert Haynesworth and DeAngelo Hall were not. Hall was resting a sore knee but is expected to play Monday night; Haynesworth is still nursing an ankle and may be a gametime decision. Cornelius Griffin , Chris Horton , Kareem Moore , and Hunter Smith were also all back at practice and are expected to play....

Newly signed tackle Levi Jones was onhand at practice today, working primarily with the scout team and getting himself back in football shape and up to speed. "I don't know if he will be ready that fast with all the terminology," head coach Jim Zorn said, "but he certainly has the talent and ability." Jones agreed with that assessment. "There's a lot of work that needs to...

Free agent OT Levi Jones finally found work in the NFL after being released by the Bengals this past offseason. Jones signed with the Redskins, whose offense is in need of some help. They’ve suffered a few injuries on their offensive line as well.

Well, some depth for the injury-depleted offensive line has arrived. The team today has announced the release of running backs Marcus Mason and Anthony Alridge, and the signing of former Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Levi Jones and former Tennessee Titan running back Quinton Ganther . Ganther, a seventh-round draft choice of the Titans back in 2006, was waived/injured back in September with...

Redskins Sign OT Levi Jones and RB Quinton Gaither Release RBs Anthony Alridge (again) and local boy Marcus Mason (sorry CJHutch), and P Glenn Pakulak. Levi Jones had worked out with the Lions and Packers this past month. Don't get excited Redskins fans, Levi Jones has gotten porous reviews the last few weeks . We'll certainly take what we can get though.

In addition to his usual stream of boisterous nonsense, Chad Ochocinco has been a rare source of candor the last few months. When you have no filter, everything, for better or worse, is going to flow forth. It was curious when he stated a while back that Bill Belichick is a better coach than Marvin Lewis, a fact few would dispute, but probably not the best statement to come from a player under Lewis'...

For those that might have missed it, free agent OT Levi Jones did have a workout Tuesday. The Detroit Lions brought Jones in for a workout. That according to NFL.com. Jones has 89 career starts, but hasn’t been drawing a ton of interest since being released by the Bengals this past offseason. [...]
