Team First Downs Yards Yards/Carry TOP Packers 20 404 5.3 35:17 Buccaneers 17 279 3.2 24:43 But then the special teams failed them (blocked punt for TD; 83 yard kickoff return allowed) and the defense, which played great...

Lang for the thirtysomething veteran tackles during Sunday’s...

It looks like the Pack could be back to getting some of their offensive lineman back to try and keep QB Aaron Rodgers upright. Coach Mike McCarthy stated Wednesday that recently re-signed veteran right tackle Mark Tauscher could start Sunday’s game at Tampa Bay—his first action since a major knee injury last December. Veteran left [...]

Considering Chad Clifton and Mark Tauscher were the primary tackles in practice Wednesday, it would almost seem a given that both would be in the starting lineup when the Packers play at Tampa Bay. If it isn't, it's clearly moving that way.

The Packers know they have to take care of quarterback Aaron Rodgers , who has a sprained foot and a sprained toe (on separate feet) after getting banged around vs. Minnesota last week. So the Packers appear to be making two precautions: They rested Rodgers on Wednesday, holding him out of practice, and also Packers coach Mike McCarthy hinted strongly that veterans Chad Clifton and Mark Tauscher will...

The Green Bay Gazette reports former Missouri Southern State University and East Newton High School lineman Allen Barbre may lose his starting position for the Packers' next game: Third-year pro Allen Barbre has started every game this season at right tackle with mixed results. He didn’t give up a sack on Sunday but unofficially yielded six pressures. Tauscher, who was re-signed on Oct. 12 after...

More photos » by Jim Prisching - AP Browse more photos » QB Brett Favre sure was pumped up beating his old team. I lost whatever respect I had left for him after that one. He wasn't supposed to throw the game, but for all his talk about being "it's just another game" , it sure looked like payback time. I'm a Packer fan first, although you can find me defending him up-and-down...
