Yesterday, we saw that Brian Urlacher was the only Bears player to get featured on ESPN's All-Decade Defense. Today, they have released their All-Decade Offense. Before I clicked their article , I tried to see how many Chicago players could make the list, and I came up with the only name that ESPN did. Center, Olin Kreutz : This was a three-way toss-up between Kreutz, Kevin Mawae and Matt Birk . All...

The Sporting News' Real Scouts has rated the top players at each position, and at inside linebacker, the Baltimore Ravens' Ray Lewis gets the #4 ranking, which is probably amazing for most 34 year old linebackers, but I'm not satisfied with that "honor." The top three above Ray are, in order, Chicago's Brian Uhrlacher, SF's Patrick Willis and Arizona's Karlos Dansby. Now I've always felt...

One of the biggest questions surrounding the Vikings this offseason is “how in the heck do you fill the shoes of a guy like Matt Birk?” Birk is a career-long Vikings who will play 2009 with another team (ravens) for the first time since he joined the NFL. He was an incredible mainstay in the middle [...]

Phil Loadholt (OT), Oklahoma 6'8", 330 The left side of the Vikings OL is as good as it gets with the combination of Steve Hutchinson and Bryant McKinnie. The team lost the anchor of the line when Matt Birk left for Baltimore, but feel that John Sullivan can step in at center and produce. That leaves the right side of the line, which was below average last year. With that in mind, the Vikings...

It's the business side of the NFL, of course, one that Hutchinson himself experienced to the fullest with his own departure from Seattle three years ago. And as the Vikings' new union rep, Hutchinson is more attuned to that side of the game than ever. The All-Pro left guard is replacing safety Darren Sharper, now...
