Several members of the Cardinals defense played well Sunday at the Giants. Karlos Dansby led the team with 10 tackles, Antrel Rolle had eight tackles and an interception, Adrian Wilson had five tackles and an interception, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie had an interception, Alan Branch had two sacks, Matt Ware had a forced fumble and a fumble recovery and Calais Campbell had a sack.

Two weeks ago Lance Long beat the odds as the second year undrafted wide receiver made the Arizona Cardinals opening day roster but his stay lasted only one game as the team cut him yesterday. Long didn't have a catch despite taking quite a few snaps on Sunday but his release may have more to do with the injuries to Anquan Boldin , Steve Breaston and Early Doucet than with his actual play on the field....
