Are you one of the 10,000 (ESPN) fantasy GMs who lost because MJD took a knee rather than score a touchdown? Well, so is he. But remember, he had 145 yards and a TD anyway, so quit bitching. [ESPN]

The former Bruin is now the standout back, while the Heisman winner Reggie Bush hasn't lived up to expectations in the NFL. The last time Los Angeles saw them together, USC's Reggie Bush was a superstar, and UCLA's Maurice Jones-Drew (whose surname was then simply Drew) was an afterthought.

1. Adrian Peterson vs. Seattle Seahawks The Seahawks just surrendered 85 yards and two TDs to Chris “Beanie” Wells and now they get the premier RB in fantasy football - and the NFL. Look for AD to top 125 yards and a few scores against a very suspect run defense. 2. Maurice Jones-Drew vs. Buffalo Bills Running backs [...]

Rankings for Week 10 after the jump. We went up or stayed steady again in every ranking this week. Average spot is 22. NFL.com's "experts" - up two to #21. ESPN - up one to #22 A fourth win in a row would do a lot to help ruin the Texans ' season. (Kuharsky) Yahoo! Sports - up four to #21. by Chris Burke Filed under: NFL Analysis Each week in the NFL , there are players that impress and players that distress. One week a certain quarterback might toss four touchdowns and run around pointing skyward, while the next he's laying on his back, holding his facemask as the other team returns one of his three interceptions for the game-winning score. With that in mind, here's Studs and Duds...

Jets safety Jim Leonhard is having surgery on his broken right thumb, and coach Rex Ryan is uncertain how long he might be sidelined. Ryan said Leonhard is having surgery Monday, adding "that doesn't sound good to me." He is unsure of the nature of the procedure, or whether Leonhard would be sidelined this weekend or longer. Leonhard was injured early in the first quarter on Maurice Jones-Drew...

Sure, it doesn’t make up for the extra six points that I, and others, could have used this weekend. And it brought back painful memories of a similar play by Brian Westbrook a couple years ago that nearly sent me into convulsions. But Jones-Drew is a self-proclaimed fantasy freak who said he had himself in his own lineup Sunday, so it’s amusing to think that his fantasy self-interest might...

Jones-Drew Pulls a Westbrook In the waning seconds of the Jaguars' week 10 matchup against the Jets, halfback Maurice Jones-Drew chose to take a knee at the 1-yard line in order to let time expire and preserve a win. I'm thinking maybe he got the idea from Westbrook's kneel-down against the Cowboys back in '07?

At Indianapolis, the Colts (7-0) beat San Francisco 18-14 to win their 16th straight regular-season game and became the last undefeated team in the AFC when Denver was manhandled 30-7 by the Ravens in Baltimore. Tennessee (1-6) hadn't won since Dec....
