The Philadelphia Eagles have added TE Tony Curtis and LB Curtis Gatewood to their roster. Curtis, of course, was with the Chiefs for just the 2009 offseason. Gatewood, however, played in six games for the Chiefs last year. The Eagles previously added former Chiefs DE Jason Babin . Three Chiefs in three weeks? After the last two years, that's wouldn't be my first strategy. While we're on the subject,...

The UFL was pretty much off my radar until the first week of June when Bobby Sippio tried out for the league . Two weeks later, the draft was held and five former Kansas City Chiefs were selected by a UFL franchise including: LB Gary Stills S Oliver Celestin WR BJ Sams Ramiro Pruneda FB Ronnie Cruz Make that six players in the UFL now (and if there's one I'm missing I'm sure you will let me know in...

Primetime told us last night about former Kansas City Chief Gary Stills being drafted by the Las Vegas UFL team. That made me curious what other Chiefs were drafted by this upstart football league. To get some background on this league, check out their Wiki page . Here is the full UFL draft list too. Last night was the UFL draft. Here's how this league is filling out their rosters: Each franchise selected...

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, professional football's latest attempt to compete with the National Football League will be kicking off their season in October 2009, and they held their premiere draft for the league last night. Each of the four franchises (Las Vegas, Orlando, New York, San Francisco) selected 24 players to build their franchise around, and there are a few names on the list that should be...

The Kansas City Chiefs entered free agency with nine players hitting the market , three restricted free agents and six unrestricted. For the difference between those two terms, check out this great read . The restricted free agents were WR Jeff Webb , C Rudy Niswanger and S Jarrad Page . All three of those players signed their tenders over the last few months. Webb signed his tender back on April 20...

The Chiefs released quarterback Ingle Martin to clear roster room for the signing of safety Oliver Celestin. That means the Chiefs will go with only Tyler Thigpen and Quinn Gray as QBs for Sunday's game at San Diego. Look for Martin to re-sign with the Chiefs on Monday. I guess they can always put Bradley in in an emergency. :) Chiefs going to San Diego with only 2 QBs

With the Arizona Cardinals sporting more injured tight ends that healthy ones, they had little choice but to sigh Stephen Spach today. Apparently Cardinals GM, Rod Graves read Hawks' fanpost and voted for the third option because they cut Oliver Celestin to make room for Spach. He most recently spent time with the Patriots but he hasn't played in a game since 2005. He signed with the Eagles after...

Hawk beat me to the punch , but the Arizona Cardinals filled out thier roster and practice squad by signing three players, late yesterday. A familiar face, Oliver Celestin, returns to the 53-man roster to fill the spot that was created when he was cut just one week ago. I'm not sure what kind of sense it makes to cut him and resign him within a week considering that he didn't have much of a contract...

The Arizona Cardinals sent Al Johnson to the injured reserve , ending his season and thrusting Lyle Sendlein in the starting center job for good. The Cardinals also moved Pat Ross from the practice squad to the active roster and cut Oliver Celestin. That's some what of a surprising me because it leaves the team with only 52 players on the roster. They also cut Anthony Oakley from the practice squad...
