Broncos Make Some Cuts

Yesterday, the Broncos released five offensive players. They were P.J. Pope, Chad Mustard, Clifford Russell, Alex Haynes, and Anthony Alridge. I was actually a little bummed that they let Mustard go. I know we already have Tony Scheffler, Nate Jackson, and Daniel Graham at tight end, but it’s tough to see Mustard go. Although Mustard played in some games last season, he didn’t [...]

Broncos sign former backs Boyd, Haynes

The reinforcements have arrived in the Denver Broncos' battered backfield: Cory Boyd and Alex Haynes, both of whom were recently cut by the team. The Broncos needed them back after losing Selvin Young (back) and P.J. Pope (hamstring) to season-ending injuries Sunday against Buffalo. They are the sixth and seventh tailbacks the Broncos have had to place on injured reserve this season. Boyd, a seventh-round...

Cory Boyd, Alex Haynes Added to Broncos Roster

The Denver Broncos officially added running backs Cory Boyd and Alex Haynes to the active roster Tuesday, a day after putting Selvin Young and P.J. Pope on Injured Reserve. Young and Pope were the sixth and seventh running backs placed on IR this season. I think Boyd has a chance to make some noise, and [...]

Cory Boyd - The Latest Broncos Running Back

The Denver Broncos will promote rookie running back Cory Boyd from the practice squad this week. Peyton Hillis became the fifth Broncos RB to be placed on IR this season, so the Broncos are turning to Boyd to help Tatum Bell and P.J. Pope pick up the Broncos running game. Boyd is 6-1, 218 lbs. [...]

Two More Added to Arsenal

On top of wide receiver Travis Wilson, the Denver Broncos also siged defensive end Ryan McBean and running back P.J. Pope. Colorado Buffalos fans may remember Ryan McBean, who had a heck of a career playing for the Oklahoma State Cowboys as a defensive tackle. He was drafted in the fourth round in 2007 by the [...]
