Vikings RB Adrian Peterson had a tremendous outing Sunday against Detroit. He had 18 carries for 133 yards and two touchdowns and caught two passes for 10 yards. His only negative was two lost fumbles, including one on a potential long touchdown run when he was stripped from behind by Lions DB Phillip Buchanon .

Anthony Henry said he had never been benched in his life -- not in high school, not in college, not in the 122 NFL games he had played before Sunday. So even though he knew he had been playing poorly, he was surprised when Phillip Buchanon came in to replace him at cornerback in the second quarter of the Lions' 28-20 loss to Pittsburgh.
