Know Your Colts History: Getting to Know Bill Polian's Latest Gem

Jacob Lacey's pick-six against the Rams last week introduced him to a national audience (ok, a Midwestern audience, but still) who didn't know about the undrafted free agent who is now playing key snaps on one of the best team s in the NFL. Watching late-round draft picks like and undrafted players turn into productive players is a great thing, especially when they hit the ground running, like Jacob...

Colts vs. Titans: Five Questions with Stampede Blue

1. Peyton Manning looks to be on pace for one of his best seasons ever. What has changed so much from this season to last? Is it just that he was healthy for the whole offseason or is there more to it than that? Health is the main reason. Remember, he started playing at an MVP level immediately following Indy's lose to Tennessee last year. From then to now, he's been dominant. I also think he is just...

Brandon Frye Picks Ray Willis Out of a Block, and Other Havoc Created by Dwight Freeney

More photos » by Darron Cummings - AP On one snap, Dwight Freeney was so dominant, he ran past Brandon Frye, pressured Wallace from the pocket and created a pile that picked Ray Willis. Willis couldn't run past the Frye-Freeney pile, and that allowed Robert Mathis to loop under the pocket and strip Seneca Wallace from behind. Browse more photos » My wife has the next two days off. Thursday Injury Report

Not only is it bad news, it's boring. No new (injury) additions and none of the 7 that sat out yesterday were back. Dwight Freeney , Bob Sanders , Gary Brackett , Kelvin Hayden , Anthony Gonzalez , Keyunta Dawson and Chad Simpson all missed a second day of practice this week. Tim Jennings , Tony Ugoh and Adam Vinatieri were given the day off. I don't expect any of the 7 guys sitting to play with only...

The Center for Responsive Politics reports that the NFL has been expanding its presence on Capitol Hill in recent years. League officials, team executives and players contributed more than $1.72 million during the 2008 cycle - nearly 25% of all professional football related political contributions...

And Coyer has revamped the system to take advantage of the Colts' speed and versatility. So after three preseason games, fans want to know: Where's the new 'D'? On Monday, two...
