The deadline to trim rosters down to 75 players a team was today, and the Lions sent 6 players packing to conform to the limit. These players were released to get the roster down to the max size of 75 players: FB Thump Belton WR Edell Shepherd OT Rex Tucker DT Marcus Lewis LB Cole Haley LB James Hargrave Cornerback Ike Charlton was placed on the IR as well.
