The following post is not intended as criticism of a trade that took place in September. I defended that trade as beneficial to the Patriots at the time, and I still believe that. BUT.... Last night in the fourth quarter was the first time this season I found myself thinking, "You know, Richard Seymour would sure come in handy right about now."

The X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing have become staples of the pre-Christmas television schedules. The ITV and BBC shows rely on the reality TV show format, but appeal to quite different audiences. While Strictly is most popular with older viewers (and Internet browsers), The X Factor has seemingly achieved total domination amongst younger viewers and web users. X Factor is winning the ratings battle...

Richard Seymour has no doubts about how the world operates politically: on one side there are the oppressed masses - the workers; the Muslims; the persons of colour and their ultimate saviours the Socialist Workers Party. On the other hand there are less savoury elements - the capitalists; the imperialists; the Zionist pigs; the Labour Party and the BNP. So [...]

The Boston Celtics lost for the first time this season on Friday, dropping a 110-103 decision to the Phoenix Suns, who lost their first game on Wednesday. For a close game, the Suns were in control most of the way. The NBA's top two shooting teams didn't disappoint the crowd. The Celtics shot 51.7% from the field. Phoenix finished...
