Ryan Sims from Virb.com spoke at WebVisions. One of the things he talked about was a matter of taste and talent, in which he showed a graph inspired by Ira Glass, of NPR's The American Life fame. Along the top is a line slightly angled up the represented the degree that one has taste. Even early in ones career, in Ryan's case graphic design and visual arts, he had good taste. It has certainly gotten...
Joe is starting to fall in love with Roy Miller, the Bucs’ new defensive tackle drafted in the third round. Whereas recently re-signed Bucs defensive tackle Ryan Sims is a Grade A first-round bust — the sixth overall pick by the Chiefs in 2002 — Miller is a hard-working, workout fiend with track record of success [...]
Nowhere, it seems, are the Bucs more in need of upgrades than along the defensive front. They appear to be thin at end, where the only returning starter is underachieving Gaines Adams, and tackle, where part-timer Ryan Sims and undersized Chris Hovan are projected starters.
Joe seems to have quite a bit in common with Bucs backup (hopefully not starting) defensive tackle Ryan Sims. As this video from Yardbarker.com reveals, Sims enjoys Playboy bunnies and working in the media. Just a hunch, but Sims may have an affinity for cocktails, as well.
My people over at YardBarker won’t like what I’m about to say. Oh well, because I can’t hold it in. When it comes to Ryan Sims, I have Tourette’s. Sims is the biggest pile of steaming 6-foot-4 sh** ever stacked that high. Drafting him with the sixth overall pick in 2002 completely obliterated any chance the [...]
The FanSided.com sports network (launching a brand new home site soon!) is getting ready to run a tournament featuring the biggest 64 NFL draft busts in league history. In this tournament, each NFL squad will nominate two dubious contestants. For the Chiefs, my suggestions are Ryan Sims and Todd Blackledge. That being said, we are [...]
Special thanks to TheUltimateBucFan who recently posted both stories in the FanPosts section. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have officially placed the franchie tag on wide receiver Antonio Bryant . Be placing the tag on Bryant, the Bucs ensure the receiver will be in pewter and red in 2009. Once he signs of course. There is a small chance another team could scoop him up, but at the cost of two first-round...
Pat “Vacation Man” Yasinskas is reporting the Bucs have re-signed Ryan Sims. This is not exactly big news, but Yasinskas speculates it could be an indication the Bucs will jump into the Albert Haynesworth sweepstakes. Joe doesn’t necessary follow Vacation Man’s logic, but it seems he thinks Jovan Haye is a goner. Defensive coordinator Jim Bates likes [...]
