CINCINNATI - As it turned out, the roughing-the-passer call against Eagles cornerback Sheldon Brown didn't end up mattering because Bengals kicker Shayne Graham missed the 47-yard overtime field goal that would have turned a disappointing tie into disastrous loss.

SEATTLE - Sheldon Brown has always been the toughest grader in the school. The man would have been a beast teaching English Comp 101, leaving papers littered with red circles and big X's and "argument doesn't follow" and then the dreaded "see me" underlined.

A new installation of Scalable City — created by Sheldon Brown and UCSD’s Experimental Game Lab — just opened at the Calit2 Gallery. While I haven’t seen the new version created for this installation (yet) the event prompts me to share a few thoughts about games, processes, and choice that Scalable City has helped [...]

It's not something you're likely to hear again after a hard-fought NFL game, but Eagles cornerback Sheldon Brown gave no hint that he was joking when he said, after the 15-6 victory over the Steelers, that punter Sav Rocca "won the game."

We’ve already seen Brandon Jacobs run over LaRon Landry, and Sheldon Brown crush Steven Jackson, but the hit of the year might be Kevin Barnes of Maryland on Cal running back Jahvid Best. I’m not sure you can place a hit on some more squarely than this one. No doubt Jahvid agrees. Thanks to [...]

I came upon this great tidbit from the Eagles website about Desean Jackson's study habits... Jackson does not just rely on his offensive coaches or offensive teammates to help. He quizzes Eagles cornerbacks Lito Sheppard, Sheldon Brown and Asante Samuel before, during and after practice. "It's rare for a young guy to do that," said head coach Andy Reid this morning. "Normally, they are just concentrating...

Here's video of Sheldon Brown's vicious hit on Stephen Jackson from yesterday's game. And the photo (From Philly.com) Now here's the question: Was that hit better than his hit on Reggie Bush two years ago in the playoffs'...

Sheldon Brown lays a huge hit on Steven Jackson

Steven Jackson missed most of Rams training camp, as we all well know. I’m sure whatever cobwebs he developed were shaken of by this bone-bruising, missile-seeking, body-crushing hit by Sheldon Brown of the Eagles. Let’s go to the videotape: Wow. LaRon Landry thought that hit was vicious. After seeing that play, it’s [...]

Sheldon Brown was right, and that's just terrible news for the Eagles and their cornerbacks, especially Lito Sheppard. It's the players who get the deals done in the NFL and not the agents. That's what Sheldon said during his lengthy assault on Drew Rosenhaus, the agent for Sheppard. Brown and Sheppard are friends.
