Cowboys get jump on Chiefs on blocked field goal

Thomas Gafford never saw Jay Ratliff jump over him on the way to making one of the game’s crucial plays Sunday. Gafford just heard the sickening thud that told him Ryan Succop’s 53-yard field-goal attempt, one that would have given the Chiefs a three-point lead with just more than 3 minutes left in the fourth quarter, was blocked by Ratliff.

Chiefs Swap Out Long Snappers....Again

The Kansas City Chiefs released long snapper Tanner Purdum today. We heard the news via Josh Looney ( of Twitter ?). The Mothership has the official announcement here .
