As Ms. Zombie Robot just told you, it's time to vote for the greatest Center in all of Falcons ' history. Only three candidates were named. Follow the jump for a rundown of the currently nominated offensive linemen. We still need at least two left guards on the list. Otherwise, the two nominated RGs will be auto-inducted and I'll just shift one over to LG. Candidate Pos Years as a Falcon Pro Bowls...

by JJ Cooper Filed under: Falcons , Titans , NFL Free Agency When Todd Weiner retired and Wayne Gandy got even older, the Falcons all of a sudden had a clear need for some depth at tackle. And if the Falcons are looking for a potentially reasonably priced tackle who could step in an start if needed, there is no better target than Titans' tackle Daniel Loper . Loper has only started one game in his...

via www.atlantafalcons.com Todd Weiner retired yesterday , and I'm sad to see him go. I know that many of your more casual fans aren't going to get worked up over the retirement of a veteran offensive tackle. A lot of people are already looking to pick up his replacement in the draft, and most of us were doing it well before this news came in. With his injured knees and his diminished role with the...

Eleven year veteran Todd Weiner called it quits today. After a season of filling in admirably on two rebuilt knees, he is calling it quits. A sad day for the Falcons because he played his tail off for this franchise. He was here protecting Vicks blindside and led us into the playoffs with Matt Ryan in the new era. Sad to see a Falcon retire, but he was a good one! We wish you all the best Todd!

Flowery Branch — It's no longer just his wife, Sunny, who sees the pain Todd Weiner lives with in his surgically repaired left knee, or his daughter Audrey, 8, who can recognize when he needs an ice pack.
