It's been awhile since Todd Yoder had two touchdowns in a season. "In a season?" he said. "Tampa, my fourth year, actually, two in the same game -- in this stadium. Washington." The date was October 12, 2003. Outkast's "Hey Ya!" was climbing the charts. The Red Sox and Yankees were in the middle of a heated ALCS , which the Yankees would eventually win, thus prolonging...

The Redskins have a lot of very well-compensated men on their football team. Some of them were crucial to Sunday's somewhat surprising win over the Broncos. But -- and I'm not breaking any particular ground here -- there were also massive contributions from a few guys not normally in the limelight; Todd Yoder caught a touchdown, Hunter the Punter threw for one, Ladell Betts had the team's best rushing...

Washington TE Todd Yoder caught a 2-yard TD pass from Jason Campbell in the Week 10 win over the Broncos. It was only the team's second touchdown scored in the first quarter all season. Yoder finished with just the one catch.

LANDOVER, Md. — The Washington Redskins did everything except hold a big neon sign to let the world know that a trick play was in the works. The Denver Broncos still couldn't stop it. Life was so much easier when they were 6-0. Energized by the odd sequence that somehow resulted in a first-half touchdown, the Redskins kept the momentum the rest of the game and beat the Broncos' 27-17 Sunday,...

Washington QB Jason Campbell led the Redskins to their 3rd victory of the season on Sunday of Week 10 against the Broncos. Campbell was limited to 193 passing yards on 17 of 26 throwing the football. The good news first this time: the Redskins actually found a recipe for some success, a combination of quick passes and slashing runs, and also showed some actual heart and determination to make this into a real ballgame. Ladell Betts was finding holes that Clinton Portis has been slow to get to, and Jason Campbell looked sharp again finishing off a second long scoring drive with a pass to Todd Yoder...

Observations from last night: When you add it all up, the Redskins are a horrible football team. Mosley made the observation that the Redskins are starting three offensive linemen who probably shouldn't even be in the NFL. What I was surprised to realize last night is that with a functional O-line, this would be a shockingly different team. If you swapped our O-line for that of, say, the New York Jets...
