TE Desmond Clark and receiver Marty Booker are expected to be questionable for Sunday night's game against the Vikings. Both are coming off knee injuries. Defensive tackle Tommie Harris (knee), safety Mike Brown (calf), and linebacker Jamar Williams (groin) are all probable coming off their injuries.

Harris' re-emergence sends ominous message to future foes After seeing Sunday's effort, there's no doubt the biggest key to the defense over the final five games fits into Tommie Harris' ignition.

Sure, sure. It was the lowly Rams. I care not. I finally got to see the Bears defense perform like it should have been all season long. 5 sacks, 4 picks and just 14 rushing yards allowed. Tommie Harris had 2 sacks. Wale added 2 more. Alex Brown had stuffs and a sack. Briggs was flying [...]

by Matt Snyder Filed under: Bears , NFC North , NFL Media Watch I have always been a fan of Tommie Harris for both his on-field play and his personality. He calls it like he sees it to the media, and he's not afraid to let them have it if they mess with him. In an interview with Mouthpiece Sports , he clarified some of his stances. First of all, he's not one of those guys who just hates the media...

I love disruptive defensive tackles. Love, love, love disruptive defensive tackles. I think a good disruptive defensive tackle is the foundation of a great defense. Albert Haynesworth. Tommie Harris. Warren Sapp. Mean. Joe. Green . Give me Green and I'll find linebackers. Arizona's defense isn't great, but it has aspirations. It's average distance allowed per drive is 27.88, 13 th in the league ....

The Bears have many questions to ask themselves after a 21-14 loss against the undefeated Tennessee Titans. How do you lose a game where u shut down supposedly the best running back tandem in the NFL and lose? How does your pass rush, who is loaded with players like Tommie Harris, Mark Anderson, Alex Brown and Adewale Ogunleye have no success getting to Kerry Collins? How does your pass defense, who...

Safety Mike Brown (calf) joined quarterback Kyle Orton (ankle) on the sideline Wednesday, sitting out practice. Also out were receiver Marty Booker, cornerback Charles Tillman and defensive lineman Tommie Harris. I don't think Charles Tillman was healthy enough to play last week, but we really need him this week. Linebacker Hunter Hillenmeyer (thumb) was limited. Luckily, Receiver Brandon Lloyd (knee)...

This off season the Bears barely even whiffed at high priced free agents like Alan Faneca and Michael Turner. Part of the reason was so they could resign their own. The Bears gave big money to Tommie Harris, Lance Briggs and Brian Urlacher among others. But so far this season the Bears D have not held up their part of the deal. Only one team in the NFL is spending more money on their D than the Bears....

Chicago Bears defensive tackle Tommie Harris paid tribute to Jennifer Hudson 's deceased brother by making a donation from his personal closet. The NFL player gave the family one of his football jerseys to honor the late Jason Hudson , The Chicago Tribune reports. "A lot of times you try to understand things but you can't fathom that, losing three loved ones within three days. It's very difficult...

Yes, it's true the Bears DT appeared on CBS's Criminal Minds last Wednesday. He played the role of the father. I guess the producer of the show is a big Chicago Bears fan, from what I have heard. For, Tommie Harris to be on a TV, but not playing football is weird for anybody, maybe he has a future in Hollywood. He can partner up with Redskins DE Jason Taylor and they both can dance there ways to Hollywood....
