I'm sitting here in Seattle at Sea-Tac International Airport waiting for my shuttle bus and I thought I'd roll out a random post for you. Well first, normally I'm a fan of San Francisco International Airport. It's nice looking, easy to get to on BART, and all around an ok experience. My problem with them is their lack of Internet, or more specifically, FREE Internet. I don't travel a ton, but SFO is...

Quick Note: I wrote this article prior to this past weekend's heart breaking loss to the Titans. The fact that we are 3-5 doesn't mean we should give up on the season, and focus on the offseason, I just wanted to get some names out there that we can track through out the remainder of the season. Things can't get much worse (at RT) in Ninerland with Tony Pashos being out for the season. While Pashos...

SANTA CLARA The 49ers' top offensive lineman, left tackle Joe Staley, is out for six weeks because of a sprained knee, but the only compensation the team made for the loss this week was adding another tackle to the practice squad. Translation: In Barry Sims we trust. Sims, the 49ers' 11th-year tackle, eased a lot of the concern over Staley's absence by filling in and playing well Sunday against...

Mike Singletary conducted his weekly Monday morning press conference earlier today. After the jump I've posted the transcript. The injury information is probably the bigger info. As was indicated, Nate Clements and Joe Staley are both expected back at some point this season. Staley has a sprained knee that apparently is NOT an ACL tear, so he should be back sooner rather than later. When we get a better...

We find ourselves a day away from the showdown with Indianapolis and the links are quite the mish-mash of articles. Given that many folks focus on college football on Saturday I suppose we get a few more feature articles than normal. After all the build-up, it's always interesting to hear a bit more about other aspects of the team as opposed to just breaking down matchups. I find the Tony Pashos articles...

Well, maybe not the Packers o-line. Anyway, the 49ers made some moves yesterday, though I'm not sure how to take them. Or rather, I'm not sure how I feel about losing T Tony Pashos to IR. I mean of course it's never good to see somebody hurt but at the same time I feel that he wasn't playing so well at RT and his promotion to starter came because he was simply there. Still, does this mean Barry Sims...

The San Francisco 49ers took a big blow to their already struggling offensive line Tuesday, losing right tackle Tony Pashos for the season with a broken left shoulder blade. The 49ers placed Pashos on injured reserve a day after he had an MRI exam on the shoulder. The veteran offensive lineman was hurt during Sunday's 24-21 loss at Houston, his first start at right tackle in place of Adam Snyder.

The news regarding the offensive line just keeps getting better. The 49ers placed RT Tony Pashos on IR today. With Pashos out looks like Snyder is pretty much the only option for RT at this time.

The San Francisco 49ers today announced that they have placed T Tony Pashos on the Injured Reserve List. Pashos suffered a fractured scapula in Sunday’s game at Houston. Pashos was signed by the 49ers on September 7, 2009, and went on to appear in five games, starting for the first time this past week at Houston. They have since signed T Chris Patrick from the Chiefs practice squad to fill his...

Josh Morgan #84 and Shaun Hill #13 of the San Francisco 49ers celebrate after Morgan caught a touchdown pass The San Francisco 49ers are trading places again along their offensive line, and even quarterback Shaun Hill admits that could be a good thing as the team emerges from its bye week. Hill got banged around a bit too often, and San Francisco's power rushing attack never really got untracked in...
