I think a lot of you remember. I try to forget but, unfortunately, I remember. The last time the Kansas City Chiefs met the Dallas Cowboys was the continuation of a trend. The Chiefs did two things that were very typical of the 2005 team, and the Dick Vermeil era in general: The offense scored a lot of points and the defense gave up a lot of points. Remember those days? Trent Green threw for 340 yards...

Brett Favre conjured up some of that old magic last week, but NFL on FOX's Trent Green says the Packers got the right guy at QB.

To be honest, I haven’t watched much of the Chiefs since Trent Green, Priest Holmes, Eddie Kennison and Dante Hall skipped town. Back in those days, they were an offensive juggernaut. In 2009, they are a work in progress with new coach Todd Haley at the controls. I actually dig Haley. He seems like one [...]

We'll jump right into the links this morning... Ugh. The Packers are in town. Remember in 2007 when the Pack was in town , and then cheesehead Brett Favre set the all time passing yards mark? Well that game was essentially a road game for the Rams as so many Green Bay fans made the trip, and I believe some of the players (most notably Steven Jackson) expressed some frustration towards the fans. Hopefully...

Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington will probably never be considered the next Dan Marino. It's sort of unfair, because Pennington did help take the Dolphins from worst to first last season. Pre-Chad, the Dolphins were 1-15 in 2007. Last season they were 11-5, won their division and ended a playoff drought that began in 2002. It wasn't as if Pennington followed Marino. Remember John Beck? Cleo Lemon?...

With 2010 coming around the corner, here's a look at who I think are the top ten Kansas City athletes this decade. 10. Zack Greinke, Kansas City Royals: Yes, he's only had two solid seasons. But no Kansas City Royal since George Brett has generated this much buzz in Kansas City. Not Carlos Beltran. Not Mike Sweeney. Not Jermaine Dye. Not Neifi Perez. Greinke would have 20 wins already if he pitched...

Via Awful Announcing. While color commentator Trent Green generally received pretty high marks for his analysis of the Lions game on Fox yesterday, play-by-play man Chris Myers had a rougher go. This is the analogy (video above) of Larry...
