Wednesday the Falcons announced the addition of wide receiver Troy Bergeron to the practice squad. Bergeron was promoted from the squad last week and later released from the active roster.

Falcons Release WR Darren Mougey This takes one young guy out of the running for a spot on the roster, leaving Aaron Kelly and Troy Bergeron as the two guys with the best shot at this point. Falcons Re-Sign WR Troy Bergeron I think Bergeron has a shot at contributing to the team in the year ahead, so it's good to see he's getting another look. That said, he hasn't successfully clung to a roster yet.
