Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday that safety Troy Polamalu (left knee) is "questionable, at best" for Week 12 at Baltimore. Polamalu has a knee sprain that is expected to keep him sidelined for another game or two. Tyrone Carter is expected to start in his place.
Somebody with a microphone asked Steelers safety Tyrone Carter if the better team won here yesterday. It seemed like such a jarring question considering the Kansas City Chiefs are a miserable team that came in 2-7 and the Steelers like to think of themselves as Super Bowl contenders. Or at least did.

Steelers safety Troy Polamalu did not practice all week because of a left knee injury and will not play Sunday in Kansas City. He may miss the following week's game at Baltimore as well. Polamalu sat out the Steelers' second through fifth games with a ligament tear, only to injure the same knee during an 18-12 loss to Cincinnati last Sunday. Polamalu's latest injury is to a different ligament. He wore...

Didn't the Steelers just play? Me and Cotter are back, for what seems like the 45th time in the last few days. Monday Night Football can do that to a person. We talk about that win from like 5 minutes ago, AFCDPOY Tyrone Carter, Rashard/Mewelde/Willie and the Bengals. All while not really knowing what we're talking about. Thanks to maticulous for another awesome beat. Our "analysis" sounds...

Because altitude prevented Ryan Clark from playing Monday night with his sickle-cell condition, Tyrone Carter played instead as the Pittsburgh Steelers' free safety against the Broncos.
DENVER — Rarely has playing it safe paid off so well for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tyrone Carter started in place of safety Ryan Clark as a precaution Monday night and made the big play that sparked the Steelers to their fifth straight win, taking the first of his two interceptions 48 yards for a touchdown in Pittsburgh's 28-10 win over the Denver Broncos. Clark nearly died following a game in...
