He's not what you would call a household name on a roster filled with higher-profile players, but keep a close eye on Wallace Wright this afternoon at Giants Stadium. He's likely to make at least a couple key special-teams tackles. Wright's 16...

Katie Strang of Newdsay does a short feature on Wallace Wright and how he’s polished himself into the role of being the best special teams player he can be. “Special teams have always been my niche. I was never gonna be a starter, that was evident,” Wright said. “If you’re not a starter, you’ve got to [...]

From the time he was a walk- on at North Carolina to his tenure as a Jet, Wallace Wright has never been handed any golden opportunities. He's earned them. And he has done so with his skill on special teams.

Wallace Wright keeps buying time. “Good night Wallace, I’ll most likely kill you in the morning.” Boland thinks this game will come down to turnovers. The Brick wall got some more mortar this offseason. Buttle reminds us that it’s not about tackles, but where you make those tackles. A feature on Jets gunner Wallace Wright. Boland thinks the Jets win by 10. I think a squeaker (though I hope for a mauling). Fifth Down has 100 Words on the Jets Pats Game. Patriots TE Ben [...]

Move over Chansi, Justin Miller has been placed on the Injured Reserve for the Jets according to AP reports. This brings up a few thoughts in my mind … Who takes over Kick Return duties full time? Leon Washington? Brad Smith? Potentially Wallace Wright? Who takes over the nickel? Also, how healthy is Dyson? Barrett needs to ride [...]

The NY Jets have signed their 7th round draft pick, Clemson WR Chansi Stuckey. Stuckey will compete for a roster spot and will have to show that he can stretch the field. The Jets have Coles, Cotchery, McCareins, Brad Smith and Tim Dwight all returning. Wallace Wright also spent time on the roster last year. So [...]
