Folks, this is the game I've been waiting for all season. There is an awful lot to look at between these two teams, and from a purely Xs and Os standpoint, this game should be a feast for football lovers. The Steelers are the defending SB champions. Their young coach had to start under the shadow of a big name. This is a team that has excellent players in just about every facet of the game, and they...

Ryan Clark is talking little as it becomes increasingly likely he won't play Monday in Denver due to a rare blood condition that nearly caused him to die after playing there two years ago.

The Pittsburgh Steelers won't announce whether safety Ryan Clark will play in Denver until Monday night, although he is not expected to be in uniform. Clark nearly died following a game in Denver two years ago because of a rare blood disorder that is aggravated by playing in high altitude. While Steelers coach Mike Tomlin has not publicly said so, he is believed to have told Clark to sit out the game....

To those who yearn to see the Steelers implement the K-Gun offense run by Jim Kelly and the Buffalo Bills in the late 1980s, forget it.

When the prime time football schedule was released months ago, it was easy to expect not to see the Bengals a part of it. With the season they had last year, why should NBC, ESPN and the NFL Network reward a team with only 4 wins by putting them on the schedule? Oh, wait; the Browns got 2 games on prime time this year with just 4 wins from last season. Oh, well. I wonder if ESPN and the NFL Network...

by Anthony Olivieri Filed under: UFL On Wednesday night, the Las Vegas Locomotives trounced the New York Sentinels, 41-10, to remain in contention for a berth in the UFL Championship Game on Nov. 27. While the game wasn't all that compelling -- nor was it, shall we say, must-see TV -- it was an important night for many on the field. The UFL concludes its season just in time for players to join NFL...

Welcome to Week 9 of your AP Power Rankings. We are a little late in the posting this week due to the fact that my boss demanded I actually do a little work. Sorry for the delay but what better to spice up your Friday afternoon than a subjective, collective opinion of 10 guys you’ve never met about the NFL? We have a lot to talk about this week but first we would like you to read the following;...

The defending-champion Steelers will put their three-game winning streak on the line against the undefeated Vikings. Minnesota quarterback Brett Favre, who is 6-0 for the first time in his career after last week’s 33-31 win over Baltimore, aims to join Dieter Brock (1985 Rams) as the only QBs since the merger to win their first seven starts to start a season with a new team. Favre threw a 58-yard pass...

This weekend, the Vikings will square off with the Steelers and it should be one of the best games of the week. The Vikings are actually the underdogs in this one even though they are undefeated on the season. The Steelers come into the game with a record of 4-2. They’ve had a bit of an up and down season so far with losses to the Bengals and Bears. So what should we expect in this game as far as Free
