We kick this off fresh today with one of the weakest positions on the roster, where Alge Crumpler's departure means the Falcons are going to war with two guys who can't catch and one giant question mark. Let' s see who will triumph in this sad breakdown, after the jump. via images.dawgsports.com If you were taking a tight end to round out your fantasy team, you'd definitely take a shot on Milner before...

The Titans placed a high priority on upgrading the tight end position this offseason. First, they acquired the services of former Pro Bowl TE Alge Crumpler during the opening days of free agency. They later swapped tight ends with the Falcons, losing Ben Hartsock to Atlanta while picking up former Falcon/Titan Dwayne Blakley. For the icing [...]

See below. A couple of issues I have: Chris Johnson - This rating seems low. Especially with Ray Rice rated at an 80, Mendenhall an 81, and McFadden an 85. I'd like to see something closer to 80. Alge Crumpler - This seems really low considering he was a 94 last year. Jevon Kearse - An 88 last year...81 this year. Albert Haynesworth - Ticky tacky, but I think he should be a 99. In my mind he had an...

Filed under: Falcons , Titans , Atlanta , Nashville Alge Crumpler was one of five Atlanta Falcons players fined last year for violating the NFL's uniform policy by wearing messages in support of their imprisoned teammate Michael Vick during a game. But while Crumpler has signed with the Titans , he hasn't given up on that fight. In an interview on ESPN2 today, Crumpler was asked about that fine and...

I have some very strong and mixed emotions about the addition of Alge Crumpler and I asked for some insight. We’re fortunate to have opinions I solicited from two friends who happen to write here on MVN's Atlanta Falcons site, Flying High. Chase Kuech emailed me saying, To me, Alge Crumpler is a lot like Josh Smith, the [...]

TE Alge Crumpler, Tennessee Titans How Alge Crumpler will help the Tennessee Titans: Crumpler gives Vince Young a reliable downfield target. Crumpler uses his body well and is able to make catches in traffic. Since Young is trying to become more of a passer than a runner, Crumpler will be a nice outlet when the pocket [...]

Free agency giveth and free agency taketh away. Hours after the official announcement that TE Alge Crumpler had joined the team, the Titans lost the services of three of their unrestricted free agents. Antwan Odom (Bengals) Travis LaBoy (Cardinals) and Jacob Bell (Rams) will all be playing in new uniforms next season.

After being released last month by the Atlanta Falcons, tight end Alge Crumpler agreed to a two-year contract with the upstart Titans. Transferring from one anemic offense to another, Crumpler will have a significant uphill battle with an embattled offense that struggled profusely last season to find the endzone. During his first three seasons in Atlanta, the former second round pick out of the University...

Alge Crumpler is supposed to be on his way to Nashville to sign a contract today. I expect the official announcement to come from the club later this afternoon. The deal is apparently 2 years worth about $5 million with a $1 million signing bonus. I think that is a great deal for the Titans. It is a deal that won't kill them even if Crumpler turns out to not be as healthy as they think he is. If he...
