It has been a long week after the insanity of last week. The media (local and national) has hit McNabb hard after his error in judgement (i.e. opening his mouth). Andy Reid blew up on the team and Brian Dawkins led a players only meeting. Now the team has to go up against the Baltimore Ravens, a team with a frightening D, a good running game and a rookie quarterback playing at the top of his game....

Guess what Eagles player didn't know a game could end in a tie until he was in a tie game? Brian Dawkins. (Eaglesville) Hey look yet another Eagles blogger that wonders why all the controversy this week is about McNabb and not Reid. ESPN, comment? (Depressed Fan) An in depth look at the play of Broderick Bunkley so far this season. (Iggles Blog) Tony Romo picks up homeless men and takes them to movie...

Remember Matt Stover’s Gene Upshaw memorial sleeve band/patch thingie? It was pointed out in yesterday morning’s comments that Brian Dawkins was wearing an Upshaw armband (or maybe just a sleeve patch on a black undershirt) this past Sunday, as you can see above. Much later in the day, someone said Dawkins (who, like Stover, is [...]

At certain points this week Lito Sheppard, Joselio Hanson, and Brian Dawkins all missed practice. That combination of players missing would make for a pretty thin secondary going into a big game... but the good news is that on Friday all three guys were full participants in practice and will play. Also limited in practice this week was Brian Westbrook, who also returned for a full practice Friday...

Brian Dawkins and Donovan McNabb were among the Eagles who showed up for practice yesterday at the NovaCare Complex without the proper amount of sleep as they prepared for the biggest game of the season, Sunday night's clash with the Super Bowl champion New York Giants.

Another mistake I made is assuming Seneca Wallace had a good game. I admit, on first viewing, I'm as mook as anyone. I see a pretty pass and think "that's a pretty pass" and when Brian Dawkins comes down for the incompletion forcing hit or Keary Colbert lets Asante Samuel swat the pass from his hands, I think "good play/come on guy, get some hands!" On the second through n takes, the truth bubbles...

Bears coach Lovie Smith knows the numbers and has seen the game films. He has watched Brodrick Bunkley and Mike Patterson clog up the middle as the Eagles' linebackers "attack the rock," as Brian Dawkins described it.
