We’re starting to compile our list of an all-time Tennessee Titans team. Every day, or nearly every day, in June, we’ll start a new poll on the Total Titans home page. Your votes will determine the team. I’m going to use editorial privilege though, to declare Craig Hentrich as the punter. Hentrich only missed one game [...]

Offensive lineman Benji Olson, one of the last remaining Titans from Tennessee's lone Super Bowl appearance in 2000, retired Thursday after 10 seasons with the team that drafted him. Punter Craig Hentrich is now the only player from the Super Bowl squad who has been with the team since then. The Titans recently re-signed defensive end Jevon Kearse, who was a rookie in the Super Bowl but left as a free...

Rob Bironas was the hero of the 2007 season. He made 35 of his 39 field goal attempts, including an NFL record 8 in one game, on the season. He also made all 28 of his extra point attempts. His average was only 42 yards per punt, but he downed 24 inside the 20, and you can...

Hentrich punted yesterday morning and is day to day. Assuming his back doesn't tighten up on him today he should be good to go this weekend. Fisher said they will keep Josh Miller around until they know if Hentrich will be able to go...

Tennessee punter Craig Hentrich will have more tests on his back, so the Titans will hold onto Josh Miller until they know when their veteran is healthy enough to punt again.

The NFL is putting a new emphasis on team captains this year. Today the Titans announced the 5 guys the players elected as captains. The 5 guys are Vince Young, Kyle Vanden Bosch, Keith Bulluck, Kevin Mawae, and punter Craig Hentrich. All 5 guys will be wearing a "C" on their jerseys. The Titans will also have a 6th captain that will be named on a game by game basis. Jeff Fisher had this to say: "They...

Filed under: Titans , Super Bowl , Nashville An interesting story in the Nashville Tennessean today talks about how the Tennessee Titans are down to just two players remaining from the team that lost to the St. Louis Rams in the Super Bowl. Those two players, 32-year-old offensive lineman Benji Olson and 36-year-old punter Craig Hentrich, help demonstrate the transient nature of the NFL, and the way...
