Mark Curnutte did a nice job summing Tuesday's OTA (Organized Team Activity). He made mention of Chris Perry and Ethan Kilmer's return to the field after both missed significant time last season. However, Ahmad Brooks, moving to strong-side, was "limited to five repetitions in practice because he still is struggling with the aftereffects of surgery to repair a groin injury last season." And what do...

Tab Perry is done for the season -- is his career in doubt? Ethan Kilmer, an injury report regular, is done for the season. Both moves to Injury Reserve open two roster spots in desperate need of out-of-work second-rate (no offense) defensive players to replace some in the mega-plex infirmary. So Sunday? Chad Johnson T.J. Filed under: Bengals , AFC North If, before the season, Marvin Lewis knew that he would be without Tab Perry and Ethan Kilmer, it might've caused him some heartburn. Perry was supposed to step in for suspended-for-half-the-season Chris Henry , and Kilmer is a special teams force. Perry severely injured his hip last season, but felt good in training camp and hoped to take...

Rudi Johnson was added to that list. On Friday, the Bengals downgraded two linebackers -- Ahmad Brooks, Caleb Miller -- leaving only one linebacker likely to play that was here during training camp -- Landon Johnson. Dhani Jones,...

Points of interest during Marvin Lewis' press conference on Tuesday. To Remain "Rashad Jeanty, Ethan Kilmer, and Tab Perry will probably be the three players unavailable against New England." To Return "Ahmad Brooks should be available this week... I think Ahmad would start the game." (two seperate questions) "Eric Ghiaciuc looks to be available to come back this week as well." Not so sure "The guys...

The Bengals have five safeties on their off-season roster. With two starters returning last season (Madieu Williams and Dexter Jackson), the depth-chart rounds out with John Busing, Herana-Daze Jones and Ethan Kilmer. Anthony Mitchell is an unrestricted free agent that missed all of last season. Defense works in coordination -- like the offense (hello, Mr. Obvious). If one group fails, it makes it...
